Managing your Pilot Profile in Aviato

This guide explains how to update your personal pilot details, preferences, and account settings.

Access Pilot Profile

• Open Dashboard.
• Select Profile in the bottom navigation.
• Choose Pilot Profile from the left sidebar.

The Pilot Profile page opens.

Update personal details

Use this section to manage your core pilot information:

• Profile picture
  Placeholder shown. Image upload support is coming soon.
• Email
  Displays the email linked to your Aviato account.
• Name
  Update your first and last name as it should appear in exports.
• License number
  Enter your pilot licence number for record keeping and logbook exports.
• Rank
  Select your current role (e.g. Second Officer, First Officer, Captain).
• Airline
  Choose your operating airline. This may be used for presets and imports.

Time format preference

Choose how hours are displayed across Aviato:

• Standard — hours and minutes (e.g. 1h 30m)
• Decimal — decimal hours (e.g. 1.5h)

This setting affects totals, flight entries, and exports.

Select Save to apply changes.

Data management

At the bottom of the page:

• Sign Out
  Logs you out of your Aviato account.
• Delete Account
  Permanently removes your account and data. This action cannot be undone.

Notes

• Changes apply immediately across the app.
• Profile details are reflected in logbook exports and reports.
• Editing your profile does not modify existing flight records.

Pilot Profile settings ensure your logbook and exports accurately reflect you and your credentials.
